Question: My daughter is suffering with lung TB doctor has given her AKT-4 for three months with streptomycin injection twice in a week.how long she has to take AKT-4.

isoniazid,rifampcin.ethambutol.pyrazanamide and streptomycin she must be

treated under category 2.

Regime which is followed in this is;

-for 2 months AKT4 and streptomycin.
-for 1 month AKT4.
-for 5 months combination of isoniazid,rifampcin and ethambutol.
