Suffering With Depression Causing Irritability And Bloating, Believe It To Be Related To Food Intake. What Could It Be?
In ayurveda we believe that there is no disease that is purely somatic or purely psychic. We believe all diseases are more or less psycho somatic. In your case, there is imbalance of vaat and pita. This is clear when you have mentioned formation of gas and this is attributed to vaatic imbalance and the other part having excess of anger and shouting etc is imbalance of pitta. Your view regarding link with diet might be true as all that we eat responds to increase vaat pita or kapha as per situation
In such diseases, we also attribute blockade of manoveh sarot. This means that you have been suppressing your emotions and making compromises every now and then with your feelings/ emotions without giving them a way out or sharing. This results in eruption of emotions leading to anger and shouting.
You will have to believe in yourself and time and again repeat to your mind that you are a modified new good affectionate lady loved by all having pleasant disposition enjoying life. Negate the thoughts with positive one that worry you. This will take a bit of time but results are sure and perfect.
As far cure with medical world is concerned avoid the situation that aggravates you, leave that place for some time or engage in something else and have a glass of water.
Meditation is an excellent support. Leave everything to God. He is supreme power and can do anything. Whatsoever he will do is for my betterment.

There is a procedure we call as shirodhara in which medicated oil is dropped over fore head for half an hour daily for ten to twenty days. It calms mind.
Amongst herbal medicines, we use brain tonics and slight herbal sedatives. Brahmi and ashwagandha are highly recommended.

I would advise you to believe and yourself, love yourself and love others then see the world. There is no place for anger in this short span and anger with our own loved ones?
One important advice from me is never sit alone and think negative , be in company of someone, always reveal your heart to someone, this gives an outlet to your emotions and prevent misunderstanding.

what a beautiful response. Could you possibly direct me to a good website to obtain Ayurvedic medicine. I am also looking to visit India in the near future. Canu recommend any good Ayurvedic treatment centres.
What foods should I avoid, and which foods balance Dosha. Can a lack of water intake do this.
Many regards

Hot spicy food, fast food and stale food should be avoided.
Lack of water intake has no direct link but the cooling effect of water helps to calm your thoughts.
