Brief Answer:
Pain could be due to acidity or heart.

Detailed Answer:

Thanks for your query.

* The information given is inadequate. I need much more elaborate details of her chest pain, such as:-

- How long did the pain last; did it spread to left shoulder and arm; breathlessness; any profuse sweating or generalized weakness; vomiting?

- Since you selected " Valvular Heart Disease" as the relevant Category, please intimate if she has any valvular heart disease and, the treatment being taken for same.

- Has she been taking pain-killers frequently for her chronic migraine?

- Any other co-existing disease, such as hypertension/diabetes.

However, from the brief description given, she could have had acute acidity (due to repeated pain-killers) or, it was spasm of chest muscles (muscles between the ribs) as part of upper respiratory viral infection (sore throat with possibly blocked tube connecting the ear with the back of the throat, causing ear ache).

It would be advisable that an urgent ECG be done, if she has a pre-existing heart disease or high blood pressure.

I will be able to give professional opinion on receiving the required information.
