Question: i have had sore neck for 2 months and pain in arms tried painkillers heat packs cream for joints but still the same

Thanks for your query.
the common cause for getting pain in neck or sore neck can be :-
-A sprain in neck muscle or,
-Cervical spondylosis.
Since the duration is quite long and keeping your age in mind it is more likely to be cervical spondylosis.
See if you have:-
-Tingling and numbness in arm on one side or both,
-Is there a stiffness or radiation of pain to the shoulder,
-Is the pain continuous or intermittent,
-Do you feel weakness or loss of sensation in hand or fingers?
-Have you undergone any investigation for it?
