Smoker. Suffering From Back Pain And Pneumonia. Found Tumor On X-ray. Any Thoughts?

Question: Thanks for being here. My 32 year old son has pneumonia. A tumor is showing on his x XXXXXXX Has gotten larger. He is a smoker. He has been sufferring from back pain. He is scheduled for ct and bronchb on Monday. Sounds bleak. Any thoughts?

hi there, thanks for asking. tumors at this age are more likely to be benign. other fctors which are in favour or it to be benign are the rapid growth in two XR, observing calcification in XR and regular border and shape. if he has a good appetite and if he has not lost weight, again it is more probable that he has a benign tumor. having pneumonia does not necessirily imply that it is malignant. please let me know more aout his condition and the answers of these questions in order to have a better insight about his health. i wish a good health for your family and you.
