Brief Answer: Avoid frequent exposure to your puppy Detailed Answer: Hello, Welcome to Healthcare Magic, As you have taken Pre Exposure prophylaxis with three doses of antirabies vaccine and Re-Exposure prophylaxis with two doses of vaccine will suffice for the previous bite. According to WHO guidelines whenever you are bit by a dog you need to take two doses of antirabies vaccine on day 0 and 3. But in your case as you are frequently bitten by your pet dog, I would advise you to test for rabies virus neutralizing antibodies (RvNab) titres by test called Rapid fluroscent focus inhinition test (RFFIT), if it is more than 0.5 IU/ml you need not to worry. Try to avoid coming in contact with your pet. Be careful while handling your dog. Hope this finds the answer for your problem. If you have any further query feel free to post them. Thank you.

Brief Answer: Microbiology Labs Detailed Answer: Hello, The antirabies vaccine to your puppy should be given regularly to have a protective levels Iin your puppy. Antirabies vaccine will give 100% protection to your pet if all the doses are given properly and regularly by your veterinary doctor. As I have explained earlier if your blood is having protective levels of rabies virus neutralizing antibody titres, you need not to take any vaccine if you are bit by your vaccinated dog. As you have mentioned earlier you have been frequently bit by your pet dog, it is better to know your protective antibody titres rather than taking the antirabies vaccine. If you have any further query I will be happy to answer them. Thank you.
