Question: I am going to attach a report from a CT scan of lungs. my Drs have been trying for 2 years to figure out why and what is causing my tachycardia, exercise endured hypoxemia, afyer exertion my BP plumits and I become extremely lethargic. the longest I can walk before oxygen drops below 90 is 100 ft. then I get what feels like numerous headrushes that keep coming and legs get so painful and sore I can barley lift my feet. I have Raynauds, small fiber neuropathy, Myopathy positive PL-7 antibody and a pace maker for heart block. also on the list is connective tissue disease and dysautonomia. I am worried about rare lung disease typical of myositis. after looking at report, could you please give me your honest opinion of what I'm looking at. Thank you in advance for taking time to read about my concern.

Brief Answer:
Pulmonary embolism plus active smoking cause all your symptoms.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Now I am able to see attachment.
Thanks for the detailed history.
By looking at your reports, your all symptoms are mostly due to pulmonary embolism and active smoking habit.
You need to quit smoking as soon as possible otherwise your embolism will not cure completely.
Another possibility is worsening of underlying psychiatric illness.
So please let me know
1. Why you can't stop smoking?
2. Do you still have stressful life?
Please reply me answers of above asked questions, so that I can guide you better. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.

Actually, the breathing (sob). Leg pain dizziness, exercise induced hypoxemia, and sudden drops in BP have been going on sense right before pacemaker went in Nov 2016. They assured me,all these symptoms would go away, but instead they have intensified. Possible I needed the pace maker, but obviously not the "root" problem. I agree the PEs have made breathing more difficult, but all this was present for approx 2 yrs before any PE. I'm working on quoting smoking. I'm down to only 3 or4 a day. Used to smoke pack an half. My life to me is only stressful and makes me anxious in the way of what's happening to my body. Some days my oxygen is 80s my heart rate is flying at rest and my BP is around 80s/ 50s. Those days come on average of 3 to 4 times week.

Brief Answer:
You might need resetting of peacemaker.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I can understand your concern.
It's good that you have reduced smoking.
Keep reducing and quit as soon as possible.
In my opinion, you should also consult your cardiologist and ask about resetting of peacemaker device. This might reduce heart rate fluctuation.
I haven't find any PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) in your reports.
Have you ever undergone PFT?
Please reply me answer of above asked question, so that I can guide you better. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
