Brief Answer:
Do ultrasound abdomen and pelvis. See details.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

I can understand your concern. At your age, causes of left lower abdominal pain may be diverticulitis, gas, indigestion, renal stone, pelvic inflammatory disease, colitis. Let me know please do you have fever, blood in stool or urine, burning micturition, nausea or vomitting, abdominal bloating, backache? Kindly follow up with detailed history.

I'd suggest you to do ultrasound abdomen and pelvis, urine analysis and complete blood count. Treatment mainly depends upon underlying conditions. Now for pain you can take tab. dicyclomine 20 mg and paracetamol 500 mg. As these are the prescription medications, so please consult with your family doctor. Along with that do regular exercise at least 30 mins a day. Take light food. Drink lots of fluids. If you are not able to pass gas and having vomitting, then rush to ER immediately. I think this will clarify your concern. Thank you.
