This is a normal ultra sound report.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXX

Thanks for writing to us.

At the outset I would say you have not mentioned what you want to know from us. Any way this is normal ultra sound report. Sex of baby can be easily determined at this stage of pregnancy. Normal position of placenta is on the posterior upper part of uterus called as funds. Placenta start maturing as pregnancy advances and maturity completes at term that is 38 weeks .Grade two (II ) maturity of placenta coincides with gestational age of 32 weeks. Fetal heart rate of 149 beats /minute is also normal at this stage of pregnancy.

Hope this answers your question.

If you have any more queries I am readily available to answers.

Take care.
Regards,
Dr Sadiq.

Brief Answer:
Gender of baby can be determined from placenta.

Detailed Answer:
Hi thanks for writing back.

Since you want to know sex that is gender of baby from ultra sound report, I will let you know some methods. Sex determination can be done by the following ways:

- at 32 weeks of gestation (pregnancy) sex of baby can be easily determined by looking for sex organs that is testis and penis in case of male.

- by position of the placenta, as early as 6 weeks of pregnancy but data given by you is not sufficient to comment on the sex of baby. Actually it is position of placenta on upper right segment or upper left segment which tells about sex of baby, which you have not mentioned in ultra sound report. If placenta is on right upper segment of uterus chances of male baby are 97.2% and if placenta is on upper left segment of uterus chances of a female baby are 97.5%.
If position of placenta that is right or left is mentioned in ultra sound report you can yourself determine the sex of baby, if position of placenta on uterus is not mentioned ask the radiologist on which side of uterus is placenta a located and you can guess the sex of baby.

Hope this answers your question.

If you have any more questions in your mind you may write back. I will be readily available to answer.

Take care.
Regards.
