Pregnant And Had The Glucose Tolerance Test. What Are The Findings?
Question: Iam 20 weeks pregnant and had the glucose tolerance test done recently.The results are as folows:
Glucose basal - 94 mg/dl
Post 1hr of 100g glucose - 176 mg/dl.
Kindly let me know if the test results are fine and within the normal range.

The glucose tolerance test results at fasting (basal) and post 1 hour are under limits. The normal range of basal blood sugar and post 1 hour sugar is between 70 - 99mg/dl and 140 - 180mg/dl respectively.
I hope the next value after 2 hours is also normal.
