Brief Answer:
History is suggestive of deficiency of IgG - the abnormality of B lymphocytes

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

The history given by you suggests that your son has the congenital deficiency or reduced amount of IgG in the body.

IgG is a type/class of immunoglobin secreted by B-lymphocytes.
The role of immunoglobins is to protect the body from external infections.
Presence of high TLC suggests that an episode of infection has taken place in past.

I am afraid there may be no permanent treatment for the problem.
However, I suggest you get total B-lymphocyte counts by flow cytometry to know whether there is a congenital reduction in B-lymphocytes.

Please consult a hematologist for further investigations.

Feel free to ask further.
Thanks and take care
