Question: Hi, on the underside of my tongue, the right vein is hurting, and there is a part at the tip of it that seems to be coming off and it has turned into a black and blue bruise looking color. What exactly is wrong with my tongue? The pain is horrible, I can barely eat. Please help ):

Brief Answer:
It could be a bruise

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query.

I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through.

The condition that you are descrbing is indeed a bruise or hematoma over the underside of the tongue towards the right side. The most common cause for such bruise is trauma. Many times we tend to traumatize the tongue unknowingly in sleep and notice it when we are awake.
Howeverbthe best part is that the tongue has a very high vascularity. That is it has lot many blood vessels. So it heals very fast.
Meanwhile if its very painful you can take paracetamol to reduce the pain. Ty gving your tongue some rest and avoid eating from the sore area.
Hope I am able to answer your concerns.

If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
