Hello,

The basic information required before a weight loss program is one's height and weight that helps us to calculate BMI/Body mass index. The other factors we need to consider are your age, gender and dietary habit (vegetarian/otherwise). We further need to assess your current lifestyle, activity level and nature of work. After taking into consideration all the above, a regimen of dietary restriction, graded exercises and other lifestyle measures need to be incorporated after setting the target for weight loss. With the above information, I can guide you further.

Regards
Dr Sundar

I had a subcolectomy about a year and a half ago. I've gained about 30 lbs. No one seems to have an answer. I tried weight loss plans, exercising (including zumba). I am hungry all the time and have up to 6 BMs a day, Now I've tried taking a diet pill. I losted about 8 lbs but couldn't continue with the pill becauise of heart palpitations. When I eat healthy foods, which are all high in fiber, they go straight through me. Still no weight loss.
