What Can Cause Delayed Menstrual Bleeding Despite Taking Mankind Unwanted-Kit?
Question: My wife used mankind unwanted kit which is having 1 mifepriston 200mg and 4 mifepristol 200mg, she has taken mifepriston 200mg on 1st at 7.30pm and on 3rd i.e. today at 7:30 pm all 4 tablets of mifepriston and we are not seeing any signs of bleeding. How can we do now please suggest.

Please see that mankind unwanted kit is not 100 per cent effective in all cases. Its efficacy decreases after 120 hours of unprotected sex. As you have taken kit the abdominal cramps and bleeding should have started.
If there is no such thing then drug was not effective. So wait for 24 hours and then if no result goes for ultrasound abdomen to know the status. In a failed attempt you have to go the dilatation and curettage called D&C.
I have seen many cases coming for surgical cases after failed medical drugs. But first, wait for 24 hours at maximum from the last drug then visit a local gynecologist and get surgical help. Do not worry it happens with many.

Just take rest and let the abortion continue. When the bleeding has stopped completely and no bleed or spot for 24 hours then visit the doctor for an ultrasound to see that abortion has been completed or not. As some pieces are left inside the uterus and those have to be removed by D&C.

Today we again visited our doctor and she advised to wait 48 hours and if complete abortion does not happen then take misoprostol 2 tebs tomorrow evening.

We wait 48 hours and my wife did not take additional 2 tablets of misoprostol as she started bleeding and as per her statement abortion was complete on that day and in first 4 days bleeding was heavy and after that it turned to normal but not stopped but, from Monday i.e. 12.03.2018 she have continuous heavy bleeding with blood clout and it still going on. We have visited our doctor she advised to have an US tomorrow and visit again. Kindly advise What may be the problems and should we do further.
