What Could Cause Burning Sensation Around The Vaginal Area Up Into The Chest And Even The Arms Sometimes?

Question: My wife is 71 years old with early signs of dementia. For the past year she has had ongoing issues with symptoms she says that she is burning inside from her vaginal area up into her chest and even into her arms. Her primary physician, her urologist, her neurologist, the ER, and Patient First can’t seem to come up with anything. They have tried many prescriptions from 3 types of creams, to antibiotics for UTI (which it hasn’t been) to acid reflux, to Nortriptline for depression and tramatol for pain. X-Rays, colonoscopy, MRI, blood test, you name it nothing. Sometimes worse than others to tears. Mostly worse when idle or lying down.

Brief Answer:
My suggestion.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I have gone through your query in detail and can certainly understand your concern towards your wife.

I feel very sorry for the situation that you're going through ,
I can say that she is suffering from post menopausal symptoms like hot flushes , as she has that burning sensation in her vaginal area.

But, I hope she has undergone ECG and echo, to rule out any heart problem as I'm concerned about her burning sensation in chest and radiating up to her arms.

I would like to know her current symptoms related to depression and current medication in order to help you.

It would be helpful if you can provide these details.

Hope this information would help you.
Looking for your reply.
Thank you.
