Question: My teeth were hurting so bad. I have a broken tooth. I went to rub my head and I heard and felt something squishy. My teeth stopped hurting but now have really bad taste in my mouth

I think that you probably had a cyst on the gum which may have burst causing the squishy feeling and bad taste in the mouth.

Having a broken tooth doesn't mean that it will hurt or be infected that's why I was thinking it could have been something else like a cyst.

It would be advisable to upload a photo of the mouth in reports to see for possible lesions.
