My Mom Has Cancer In Her Liver , Bone Marrow

Question: My mom has cancer in her liver,bone marrow, and in the GI. But the most important is the liver. her buliruben went from 16-27. after intaking 5-fluorouracil. her condition has gotten worse. But the doctor said they cant do anything until the liver get better. they are not giving her anything until then. What can I do?

I am sorry about her situation of having cancer spread in liver, intestines and bone marrow.
The best way to treat is chemiotherapy. Having a good liver health and having bilirubin and liver enzymes in normal range may be needed to undergo chemiotherapy.
The only way to help hernia to stop 5 florouracil ,give her intravenous infusions and antinausea medications. Monitor liver enzymes and bilirubin and consult her doctor about best time to start chemiotherapy.
