Question: hello I have been have muscle spasms tingling sensations that sometimes feel like rain drops in both my legs , sometimes my arms but mostly my legs. This has been going on for years now. I've also been having vision loss/blurred vision/spots in vision that does not seem to be corrected by my glasses, along with hearing loss ringing in the ear then my ear pops, feels like it's full of water. Difficulty with balance and some short term memory loss. I have seen my primary care and he does not believe it's anything Neuro but I'm not convinced as I don't understand what else could cause these symptoms. Does this sound possibly like MS or any autoimmune disease?

Brief Answer:
Get examined by a neurologist and get investigated as advised

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.

Vision loss and field can be charted. Hearing loss can be tested by audiometry.

Symptoms of nerve tingling can be due to neuropathy and nerve conduction study may be done.

All these symptoms are less likely to be due to multiple sclerosis.

Other possibilities may be Sjogren syndrome, the autoimmune disorder, or even vitamin B12 deficiency.

However, a thorough examination by a Neurologist is required before going for investigations.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Thank you! my primary care is setting me up with a Neuro doctor but the wait to get in is pretty long. If it is possibly due to a vitamin b12 deficiency would that show up in a standard blood test? my primary care said he did not check for b12 because it was not covered by my insurance. My red blood cell count was in normal range so does that rule out the b12 deficiency? Also would taking tablets of b12 help if that was the case?
