Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
Molluscum Contagiosum is a viral infection which presents as pinkish, white pearl shaped eruptions on the skin which do not itch, have no discharge and also there are no other symptoms as fever.
It is very contagious and can spread easily so it is better to avoid touching and sharing of clothes and towels.
It is a self limiting skin condition that is it resolves by itself but time period can vary from 2 weeks to months and also has the chance to spread and get infected so it is better to get it treated medically.
The most common treatment is scraping(curretage) or cryotherapy. The lesions in the pubic area also have the chance of spreading through sexual contact so it should be avoided.
Kindly visit a Physician for appropriate treatment so that the spread can be prevented and also to resolve it soon after proper evaluation.
Hope this answers your query.I will be available for follow up if any.
