Question: I've just had wisdom tooth and the one next to it pulled. I found an image online that shows what I have basically; it's the same looking as the white bit sticking out. it was hurting rubbing into my mouth while singing. I am freaking out. will I die from this, is it a sign of cancerous buildup?

Brief Answer:
Not cancerous, please provide more details.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

It is definitely not cancerous, it looks like the tooth root or any portion of any supernumerary tooth.

First of all please tell that the image you have attached is your own or you have taken a reference image from internet?

Is the area painful?

Is the white thing hard or soft?

Is it movable or stiff?

Please revert back with answers.

Regards.

Brief Answer:
Looks like sharp bone.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

It looks like a sharp bony crest.
Please consult your Dentist and get checked.
If it is bone then it needs to be trimmed.
But do not worry as it is not cancerous.
