Itching In Groin, Spread To Buttocks And Waist. Darkening In Color. What To Do?

i'm suffering with groin itching which has spread whole buttocks and right side of waist. It is not causing any much itching on buttocks(some itching on the groin area) but turned into dark color. what should i do now?

You are most probably suffering from fungal infection of the groin area which has spread to buttocks and waist.
It does cause itching , thickening , discoloration of affected skin.
The next best step is to get the diagnosis confirmed by a dermatologist ( skin specialist) who can after examination and test( like woods lamp examination or KOH mount ) confirm the infection and start appropriate antifungal treatment schedule.
The treatment includes local application of antifungal Dusting powder ( clotrimazole or ketoconazole ) and oral antifungal like fluconazole / ketoconazole .
For the itching antihistamine drugs like fexofenadine or cetrizine might help temporarily.
Try to keep the area dry and clean.
Avoid tight clothing as far as possible .
