Question: Thanks. The roof of my mouth, in the back is yellowish in color. No sore throat or hoarseness. I'm a non-smoker and receive regular dental cleaning and care. I use listerine mouthwash/gargle twice daily. Daily medications include lisinopril, triamterine/hydrochlorthiazide, Crestor. I noticed this today,

Brief Answer:
Can be just improper cleaning.

Detailed Answer:

Thanks for your query.

Yellow appearance of the roof of mouth at the very back can be due to improper cleaning.

You can gargle with 1:1 solution of hydrogen peroxide and water.
Do warm saline gargles.

Eat hard foods like carrots, apple etc.

Hopefully, the yellowness will get resolved.

I hope it helps.
