Brief Answer:
Burping for 10 minutes should be done

Detailed Answer:
Hi, welcome to HCM. Can understand your concerns.

Sometimes, baby may vomit some amount of milk after feeding, this is a normal thing. The baby keep milk in mouth which results in vomiting.

Burping should be done for at least 10 minutes. This will help.

If vomiting still persist then start Domstal baby drop 5 drops three times a day for 2 days.

Avoid feeding baby in lying down position. Keep an angle of atleast 30 degrees.

I hope this will help you.
Wishing your child good health.
Take care.

Hello Doctor, My baby is of 18 months old and on 10.03.2013, she has been suffering from waterly stool in yellow color. we met the children s specialist and he prescribed initially 1. P-250 suspension(60ml), 2. zenflox-oz suspension (30ml), 3. Domstall suspension 4. walyte ORS-IP powder. However, it was not controlled the loose motion for the second or third stool delivery Of course, she delivers her stool in morning hours as normal, but for the second or third time, the stool become loose with some gap or per day 6 to 7 times. Again we met the doctor and explained the situation. the doctor prescribed 1. M-cid suspension(30 ml), 2. vomikind (30ml), 3. walyte ORS-IP powder and 4. STIBS packet. Still she used to deliver soll as i explained above. The doctor also said that if the second time prescribed medicine wouldn t work, then she could have to be given injections morning and evening for 3 days, regularly.Your advice is more appreciable and thanks in advance.

Hi, My kid is 5 weeks old, he is continuously vomiting since last 2 weeks. My Doctor prescribed me Domstal drops four times a day along with Lanzol(Jr) tablet twice a day. There is a confusion, do I need to feed Domstal baby drops or Domstal Suspension drops? In case these medicines didn t work for 1 more week, if not reflux what other problems we could expect?
