The length is about 28 days. In the case mentioned above need any precautions qs a necessity?

If the cycles are 28 days regularly, then most fertile days are between 12th to 16th day. Therefore unprotected intercourse from 15th to 17th carries a small risks of pregnancy. As I mentioned earlier if there was no ejaculation, pre-semen secretions will have very, very minimal chances of pregnancy.
It's always better to use barrier during intercourse. If it wasn't used, always better to start emergency contraception provided intercourse was within 72 hours earlier.
