Is The HIV Antibody Test After 6 Weeks Of Exposure Conclusive?
Hello and Welcome
I appreciate your concern
At six months after exposure if HIV antibodies by ELISA are negative then the person is termed HIV free as its sensitivity is 99.99 percent at 6 months. They can be done and repeated after 3 months if negative.
Specify the test that you mentioned, please.
Wishing you best of health

4th generation tests pick up 95% of cases at 28 days after exposure.
Confirmatory test after three months of exposure is recommended.
