Explained

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

At six months after exposure if HIV antibodies by ELISA are negative then the person is termed HIV free as its sensitivity is 99.99 percent at 6 months. They can be done and repeated after 3 months if negative.

Specify the test that you mentioned, please.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks

It was an early HIV detection test. They can detect as early as 12 days after possible exposure. It's not the same as antibody.

4th generation tests pick up 95% of cases at 28 days after exposure.
