Brief Answer:
Keep protected, anti-inflammatory meds, cool soaks, aloe

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

A burn, including a sunburn , can cause inflammation of the skin which would cause discoloration and swelling.

Keeping the leg covered would prevent further aggravation from the sun.

The use of anti inflammatory medication such as naproxen or ibuprofen or cataflam would help reduce the inflammation.

Cool soaks with water and also the use of aloe would help relieve the discomfort. They would cool the skin and help to soothe your leg.

It is also important to drink enough fluids because fluid loss can occur through the damaged area of the skin.

If possible , it would be best to rest the leg as much as possible.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
