Is Pregnancy Possible While On Hormonal Pills?

Question: Hi,
My period due is on 25th of March. I took pills to postpone my period as i was having my sis wedding. Me and my husband had inter course during post pone period. I stopped pills and i m not getting my period still.

Is it is possible to become pregnant during post poned time?

Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.

It i highly unlikely to get pregnant while you are on the pills provided they are hormonal pills.

Can you please tell me the name of the pills you took?

Also sometimes the pills themselves cause delay in periods due to its effect on body's own natural hormones.

How long have you stopped the pills?

I will advise you to wait at least for a week after stopping the pills to get your periods.
If you still do not get periods then get a urine pregnancy test done .

Hi,
Pill is "Regesterone". I stopped three weeks ago. I took the pills from 23rd of March till April 3rd. After that i didnt get my period.

My period due was on March 25th.
