Brief Answer:
The chances are very low.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,

Thanks for trusting hcm about your health care.
I have gone through your history and understand your concerns.

The chances of pregnancy are almost nil in your case as you are on minera birth control.

But if you are feeling nausea and you are not having any period, you should get your home urine pregnancy test done.

Hope found useful, feel free to ask more information.

Good luck.

I currently have the Mirena IUS for birth control. (Previously, I had been on Depo injection for 8 years - which I LOVED but we are getting married this year and hope to have children in the next few years, so I was aware I needed to come off this) The Mirena is causing me pain when I exercise. I saw my GP today and we discussed having the Implant fitted instead. However, I am on Topamax for Migraines and have just been researching that this makes the implant ineffective? Can you advise?

I have had mirena for 10 months now and have had no problems in it. I also dont have a period. Last day or two I have had some brown discharge, no smell or anything and no period pains. Should I be worried or is it just an occasional spotting that will go away?

I ve had the mirena IUD for over a year and I still get lower abdominal pain (similar to menstrual cramping), including sharp pains on my left side near the hip bone. I m not sure if this is normal or if there is a problem with it. My gyno said it was normal for up to 6 months, but I ve had it for 12 months already, I m concerned there is a problem with it. I get these kinds of cramps quite frequently.

Hi I am a 43 year old Indian married women with two kids of age 14 and 10, I have a history of hormonal imbalnce, Strong PMS & irregular periods through out, otherwise no other health problem, one year back I have removed Mirena because of continuous bloating in abdomen and tenderness and pain in breast, no other side effects during 5 years of usage.8 days back I have gone through my first D&C because of 7 weeks unwanted pregnancy due to contraceptive failure. During the screening I am detected with a fibroid sized 2.4X1.6 Cm in in the anterior myometrium of the uterus . Please suggest me an oral contraceptive which can reduce my PMS as well and can support my age and newly discovered Fibroid. I have heared about Yasmin or Yaz with anti bloating properties, Please suggest, I want to consult an Indian Dr. due to availability of medicines.
