Brief Answer:
Not likely

Detailed Answer:
Hi there,
Welcome to HCM,

I-pill if taken within 72 hours of intercourse are almost 99% effective that means the chance of them failing are quite low.

It is common to have a delayed period after taking I-pill, and if you don't get your period 3 weeks after taking the I-pill, do a urine pregnancy test.

The thyroid condition should not affect the efficacy of Ipill in any way.

Hope this helps,
Regards.

Brief Answer:
take tranexemic acid to stop bleeding

Detailed Answer:
Hi there,

The most important thing is to decrease blood loss. Take tranexemic acid 500mg tablets thrice a day to stop the bleeding.

This could be due to hormonal imbalance or due to I pill causing disturbance. If it is due to I pill, your next cycle will be absolutely fine. But if you have some underlying hormonal issue then you may have repeated problem.
If you have same pattern in next month then do Thyroid and prolactin levels.

Hope this helps.
Regards.
