Is Pregnancy Possible After Non Penetrative Sex?

default
Posted on Fri, 16 May 2014
Question: Hi. Recently, I was beginning to have unprotected sex 24 hrs ago but I didn't go all the way. His penis touched my vagina several times, but didn't penetrate beyond an inch. This one inch penetration happened about 5-6 times. There was no ejaculation. Also, he urinated an hour before this small intercourse and I've heard that this helps prevent the pre cum from having sperms. Also, my periods ended 5 days ago and I have a 27 day cycle. I'm 21 years old. What are my chances of getting pregnant ? Should I take an emergency contraceptive? (I have heard that these pills aren't good for women below the age of 25 so I want some clarification regarding this too).

Hello

More than 24 hours have passed since you had unprotected sex so I think, now it is of less use because you were not taking pills previously. Emergency contraception is meant to supplement the primary contraception or when it fails like forgetting a pill or torn condom . Entering an inch is enough to make some one pregnant ,even if there was no ejaculation because precum can have sperms. Passing urine will not prevent sperms mixing with precum because sperms come from testis and urine come from bladder.
In a cycle of 27 days, 5th or 6th day of cycle can be considered a relatively safe day ,but you can't be sure because cycle can go wrong any time .
In short, I suggest that ,though the chances of pregnancy are slim but taking a pill will not help. You just wait and watch. If you have sex again, please use condom.
