Brief Answer:
different possible causes

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Vasectomy usually involves completely cutting the path of sperm.

Failure is extremely rare but you should consider a pregnancy test to see if this is cause of your delayed period.
Pregnancy tests detect hcg hormone which is released 11 to 14 days after conception. If this time frame has passed then you should do a test.

Other causes of delayed or irregular period are: (1) perimenopause- this is the time before menopause when the period changes, it becomes irregular or the bleeding may change

(2)other physical illness- if the body is fighting another illness or infection, it can affect the period

(3)stress

(4)abnormal levels of thyroid hormone

(5)high levels of prolactin (a hormone in the body)

(6)polycystic ovarian syndrome

Summary: (1) pregnancy should be ruled out with a home test, these are highly accurate. Because the failure rate of vasectomy is low, other causes would need to be considered if this is ruled out

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
