Is Natural Conception Possible When Diagnosed With PCOD?
Question: dear doctor, I am 31yrs women I am trying to conceive since 13 yrs .my doctor diagnosed me uterus are normal ,both tubes are open but pcod and obesity ,egg growth slow ..my husband report is normal.my doctor did histro laparoscopy ,6 times iui .I used metformin, siphene, foltive tablets and some hormonel injections like gonal f as my doctor prescribed. only one tablet lycogold xt prescribed my husband. my questions is we decide to stop the treatment for some years. in the meantime time what medicine should i take for conceive from home ?my husband report is normal but why doctor prescribe lycogold xt?please answer me. regards XXXXX

In case of PCOD, natural conception is less likely until the ovaries produce normal healthy eggs. If you want to stop the treatment for few months then it is best to take antioxidant and Vitamin E supplements and folic acid supplements. Do try to lose some weight. The supplement given to your husband is also for formation of healthy sperms. You can take Evion 400 and Folvite with Cap. Ovabless regularly to help.
