    Is natural Vitamin D-2 better than synthetic one?

Question: My doctor has prescribed Vitamin D-2 for D deficiency. Have heard Vitamin D-3 better choice as natural vs. synthetic.

Yes, studies have shown that vitamin D3 is better absorbed and utilized than D2, may have better efficiency and provides more constant vitamin D levels in blood. Both of these can be found in food and as supplements so if you are able to have vitamin D3, you should use it.
