Is masturbation safe when suffering from tight pelvic floor and tail bone pain?

Question: Hi I am 32 years old and a female. For the past 2 years I have been in physical therapy for a tight pelvic floor and pain in my tailbone. I started feeling much better and I am no longer in physical therapy. Although my tailbone still gets some pain and my pelvic floor gets right with stress. I did not masturbate or have sex during this time and until now. I masturbated this morning and I notices a couple hours later my tailbone and pelvic floor hip area feel very tired. I am concerned and afraid. Could my muscles still be weak and too tight for this and that is why my muscles feel fatigued? I felt better and healthy overall after and like it relieved stress. But my hip area feels off and it scares me. I read that masturbation is good for the pelvic floor and wondering if maybe if my muscles are
Still tight then should I continue to abstain? There's nothing medically wrong with me. I've had a million tests. Very discouraged and constantly worried about this problem.

The weakness and fatigue that you are feeling is a normal finding. It is a good exercise for your pelvic floor. There is no need to abstain. Just be careful not to have an aggressive session as it can cause an inflammation in your tailbone. You can continue physical therapy and a hot fomentation to regain the strength in the pelvic muscles.
