Question: My 21 year old son got a scratch by teeth of our pet puppy who has been vaccinated. He is taking montair fx and avary nasal spray for allergy asthma .dr gave him tetanus and rabivax shots to be on safe side as stray dogs in our area have been affected by rabies.after about 10 hrs he got fever Dr here gave him ceftum500, rantac and paracetamol sos . His fever got ok next day that is today he again has fever tomorrow again rabivax has to be given what should I do he is taking asthma medicine and antibotics

Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understand your concern.
You should give the required rabies vaccine as it is very important to complete the immunisation schedule.
Protocol says that you should vaccinate the person till at least 10 days by giving him the doses on 0 day,3 day and 7 days.
The fourth injection falls due on 14 days.
If your pet is all right by the end of 10 days,then further vaccination on day 14 and 28 is suspended.
Keep giving your son the other medicines he is taking.

He has cough toois it because of asthma .or some cough syrup is required ? Is the fever because of injection he had 101.4 yesterday and 99.6 today

Fever has no connection with the injection for rabies.
As far as any cough syrup is concerned,you can talk to your treating doctor.
