Brief Answer: Normal condition Detailed Answer: Hi, I have gone through your query. Aching of your ear after extraction of your tooth is the normal and frequent condition because both have common nerve supply. This condition is known as the referred otalgia i.e. overlying disease not present in the ear. Avoid putting oil, ear bud and water in the ear. You may take simple pain killer for this. If you have any doubt, I will be available for your query. Regards

About 3:00 Wednesday morning I woke up with severe abdominal pain in the upper abdomen. I had no nausea or diarrhea and was not constipated. The pain was sharp (had me doubled over) and alternated between severe and moderate. After about 45 minutes it mostly went away and I was able to sleep. Around 5am I awoke again, but the pain was far less severe. Through the day the pain was pretty much gone, but I had mild pain again in the evening. Since first getting the pain, I’ve had a lot of gas. Could this simply be gas?

My 3-year-old daughter has a tympanoplasty scheduled in 2 weeks. She had tubes at 9 months. The right tube was taken out and later burst during an infection. The hole never healed. Her left tube remains and will be taken out and patched as well. I m nervous; is this common for the holes to not heal properly? Is there anything to be worried about?

I have an ear infection. I was seen on Thursday (Doctor never checked ear, nurse did) and given 10 days of amoxicillin. It is Sunday and I still cannot hear out of it properly. My care sheet says that if I did not feel better in a couple days I should go back in. I m uninsured and would love to avoid this, but health does come first. Should I head back into the hospital?
