Brief Answer:
It is quite normal and the medicine is fine.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
The pain your Son is experiencing is fairly normal especially after two extensive surgeries on the intestines. The pain happens due to distension of the bowel with gas or food against some areas of adhesions as the bowel has not been used to much oral diet in the past few weeks. Do not worry this will slowly get resolved. His intestines will get used to the increasingly solid food content and the pain should dissappear over the next few weeks.
As for the medicine Meftal. It is one of the best drugs to relieve colicky pain which is classical in this condition. But you should give it sparingly and only when necessary. Slowly the requirements of pain killers should also decrease.
So dont worry your treatment is on the right lines.
If there is any abdominal swelling or constipation then you might need to consult the Surgeon otherwise there is no need for any other medicines.
Do let me know if there are other concerns.
Take care.

Thanks Sir,
Few more question in my mind
My Son also undergo appendectomy with first surgery and some time pain is also occurs at lower right side of abdomin. Actually pain is either at middle abdomin or at right lower abdomin side.

Also can you suggest what kind of food supplement we can give for fast recovery.

Brief Answer:
The pain in this location is understandable. Diet as below

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thanks for the reply.
Appendectomy is a routine procedure in this surgery. The right sided pain is probably due to dissection in that area to mobilize the bowels and central abdominal pain is due to the adhesions which give the small intestine difficulty in their perisraltic propulsive movements. Both these things would be normal.and expected.
As for food supplements I suggest you keep him on mix of soft and semi hard diet rich in carbohydrates, proteins and fats. He requires rich food in small quantities and multiple times a day so he can regain his strength fastest. Any food is good as long as he likes it and has it without feeling nauseated. He should not have vomiting which can happen with over feeding. Also his stool quality will tell you whether he is digesting the food you are giving well. You will have to guahe accordingly and change his diet.
All the best.
Take care.

Brief Answer:
Dont worry. He migjt require stomach hurrying agents.

Detailed Answer:
Hi. Thanks for your reply.
You are not asking too much. This is natural in your condition and I can understand as a parent.
These pain episodes are normal but vomiting should not happen as long as he is having things that he likes. You can start Tab Emset or Ondansetron to increase his stomach motility. But it will take some time for him to recover from the surgeries.
Bear with it. It is difficult I know but there is no surgery required at present.
I pray for him and hope he recovers soòn.
Please feed him as much as you can and hopefully he will regain his normal self soon.
Take care.
