Is It Normal To Experience Early Periods After Taking Postinor?

Posted on Mon, 4 Jul 2016
Question: Good evening Dr. Thanks alot for the other day. Would like to inform you that, seems to me that I have started my period which was meant to be on the 4th of this month, which means it came 3 says earlier. It all started yesterday with some brown discharge yesterday evening after I got back from the hospital where I went to do a blood pregnancy test. Just used panty liner while I went to bed and when I woke up, it was just a little stain on the panty liner but as for today,it seems more like my period flow. Just wanted to know if I still need to be bothered or not as it came early than expected because most times, postinor tends to delay my period.

Just thinking because i know that implantation bleeding also occurs around the time you are meant to get your normal period.

Brief Answer:
No need to worry.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Thanks for trusting me again about your health care.
I have gone through your history and it is most likely your period not due to implantation bleeding.
The reason behind it is that implantation bleeding most likely look like spotting and normal period like flow is not be there.
You have not share your blood beta hcg report.
It is negative or not.
If it is negative and if you are having normal flow
Than there is no chance of pregnancy.
Hope found useful, feel free to ask more information.
Good luck.
