Question: Thank you for your answers re subchorionic haematomas -- the latest scan today shows they have resolved. Baby is now 12 weeks old and doing well.
Would you recommend continuing pelvic rest or is it okay to resume everyday activities including sexual intercourse and heavy lifting?
I also wonder if haematomas ever appear again after the first trimester

Brief Answer:
Avoid heavy activity

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mam, good to hear that hematomas have resolved as that is always a relieving factor.
You should still refrain from sexual activity and heavy work till 16 weeks because after that placenta starts functioning in full bloom and risk of abortion is very less.
But no need for modified bed rest anymore and you can rather resume all your routine activities.
You can go to office if you were working previously and an do all cooking and normal activities but no heavy work like sweeping or lifting water buckets or a pile of clothes.
Keep taking all medicines as advised till 16 weeks.
All the best and may god bless you with a healthy baby soon.
