Is Implant Removal Necessary Long After A Surgery For Femur Fracture?

Question: I had Intercondylar fracture femur on 26/1/2009 . orif dcs done on 16/2/2009 .
Now , I don't have any pain so for .
Case 1:- Some doctor suggest if you are not having pain no need to remove . It will provide support .My height 6 feet weight 78kg
Case 2 : Few doctor saying you can remove it .If you delay its hard unplant .

Need suggestion .

The surgery was done more than seven years ago and till date there is no pain or problem due to the implant. In these 7 years the bone has already healed well and the implant is properly fixed inside. There is no need to remove it now as you do not have any problem.
