My wife (44) is suffering from bulky uterus and multiple intramural fibroid and our family doctor advised her for hysterectomy. there are multiple echopoor masses, cervix is normal, right and left ovaries are normal in size and shape. and no stone and no growth. Doctor I need your advice that is the operation possible through laparoscopy.
Medicines which are prescribed by the Doctor are as follows:
1- Crina-10 once in a day
2- Pause MF (SOS)
3. leuprolide -Once in a month- 3 months
Laparoscopy surgery possible.
Hello Mr XXXXXXX Thanks for writing in to us with your health query. I have gone through your query and understand your concerns completely. As the report suggests that there are four fibroids of about average size of 3× 3 cm . These can be taken out by laparoscopy surgery . Take care to choose a Centre which has good experience with laparoscopy surgery. It is a not a very uncommon problem and is readily treated by surgery. She is on right drugs which will help to reduce the size of the fibroid. I wish your wife all the best. Regards Dr Manisha Jain OBGY Specialist.
Ask your gynaecologist
You will have to search in your city after consulting either your own gynaecologist or your family doctor.
I basically reside in XXXXXXX so cannot guide you any further but in case you want any opinion regards surgical procedure or any issue if decision then please feel free to ask.
Around 45-55 thousand
At most of the average centres the approximate cost is around 45-55 thousand without medicines.
Rest of the cost will depend on the room verses ward option and food availability etc which will depend on level of hospital chosen
