Is Herpes Test Done After 13 Weeks Conclusive?

Question: Recently tested for HSV 1 & 2. 13 weeks after possible exposure. HSV1 54.1 result and HSV2 <.91. Should I retest at 6 months or should I rely on the negative HSV 2 test result?

If the HSV 2 is negative 13 weeks after the exposure, the possibility of it getting positive later are not there and it is confirmatory that you are not infected with HSV 2.
