Brief Answer:
The heart by-pass op is necessary...

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.

Unfortunately, the heart events (stroke, attack, etc.) can go silent most of the times. If angiogram showed 3-4 blockages, then, heart by-pass op is really necessary.

The present changes in your lifestyle and diet regimen and medications you are taking will :
- reduce blood pressure, thus, greater chances for op success
- reduce chances for possible cardio-vascular event

To my opinion, you should continue with current changes and medications and keep regular follow ups with your cardiologist.

Good luck!
