Is Fasting Necessary For Temporary Discontinuation Of Cardura?

Question: I have been on Cardura for about twenty or more years & in an attempt to get a renewell of this drug, I was denied. I was told to do a 12 hour fast before they would renew my Prescription. I can't get an answer from my provider. Why would they do this.?
