Is Drop In AST And ALT Levels Good For Liver?

default
Posted on Mon, 8 Dec 2014
Question: Hello, my Ast/at dropped from 102/85 to 68/65 in 6 months...and bilirubin is 0.5 and total protein is in the normal range. I had cut down drinking quite a bit. Is this decrease because of that and also is the decrease in AST/AL t levels a good sign for the liver? Thanks

Thank you Doctor. My ALP though has gone up to 125 from 102 in the same period. Should I be concerned? Thanks!
