Is Discrepancy In Length Of Leg Due To Polio Curable?
Question: Dr. My left leg is little smaller than the other due to polio in childhood. Can it is curable

At your age the discrepancy in the length of the leg can only be corrected surgically. Massage and exercise can help only to some extent and that too in childhood. Now all your long bones have attained maturity.
You can use foot orthotics or foot inserts if the discrepancy is less than 2 cm. In case the discrepancy is more then surgical limb lengthening is the only option.
