Brief Answer:
You can eat iodine!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

You are very free and safe to eat iodine containing foods. We all need it and there is no reason to stay away from. What we discourage are excess consumption just like with any other substance. The history of Grave’s disease, iodine treatment and surgery in no way prevents you from consuming iodine.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with us if need be.
