Question: I am currently taking a 5 day dose of Z Pak for a Sinus infection. Saturday, after only taking it for two days, I had unprotected sex. The skin to skin contact was less than a minute.. I have one dosage of the Z Pak left.. Should I be worried about Chlamydia or Gonorrhea?

Brief Answer:
No!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this unprotected intercourse. Given the brief duration of skin to skin contact, it is very unlikely that you could contract an infection. I will say stay calm and only get concerned if symptoms develop, something which would be very very unlikely to occur. For full chlamydia treatment, a single dose is not sufficient if you were to contract it.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. Above all, thanks for using our services.
