Brief Answer:
Angiography, echocardiography and ecg report will be needed if available

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX , welcome to HCM.

I have gone through the reports you have attached and your concern .

I would hereby wish to tell you that for objective opinion , I will require the angiography details and 2-D Echo cardiography and ECG reports if available.

The paper's you have uploaded are his medical progress sheet and have no information about any of the above except ECG .

To know how critical is the disease and where are the lesions so as to predict the urgency of bypass would be only possible seeing the angiography report .

Lastly the bottom line is if your father is symptomatic, in terms that he has any chest pain or breathlessness while he is walking or climbing stairs, it better to opt for revasularisation ie. Bypass earlier than XXXXXXX , otherwise you may wait.
XXXXXXX is a high volume center and hence usually waiting period is longer , you may discuss the same with your cardiologist as he has the opportunity of examining the patient which would give him a fair idea of the risk of prolonging the surgery.

I would wait for the reports .

Regards
Dr Priyank Mody
