Brief Answer:
Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (ALCL)

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone through your query and understand your concerns. Dr. XXXXXXX Ordon should have mentioned about the finding that as many as 1000 Australian women who received breast implants will be diagnosed with Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (ALCL) and although health advisers and clinicians had previously thought the risk of developing ALCL was remote: between one in three million and one in 50,000. But the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA) has now updated its estimate to one in 1000 women with breast implants.

I think that you should not be worried about technicalities. Irrespective of the risk measurements, you yourself have only two parameters to consider - either you have it or you don't. A periodic breast examination will help in diagnosis and exclusion. If you do not have rapidly growing a breast lump, chances are that you do not have a cancer. If diagnosed in early stages, cancer is 100% curable. So, I doubt if you should worry.

Feel free to ask back if you have any further queries and I will try to assist you.

Regards
